Privacy Policy for KDP Uploader Plus

KDP Uploader Plus ("the Extension") is a Chrome extension designed to help authors and publishers semi-automate Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) uploads for eBooks and Paperbacks using CSV/XLSX data.

We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your information.

a) Information Stored Locally

The Extension may store the following information using Chrome Storage:

• Book metadata you load from CSV/XLSX files
• Upload settings and user preferences
• Progress information related to the upload process

This data stays on your device unless explicitly sent to your servers for processing.

b) Information Sent to Our Servers

To provide automation and processing features, the Extension may send the following information to our API services:

• Book metadata (title, subtitle, keywords, categories, description, etc.)
• Upload progress events (optional)
• Documents or assets required by the upload workflow (if your app sends them)

No Amazon credentials, payment data, or personally identifiable user information is ever collected or transmitted.

c) Information We Do NOT Collect

The Extension does not collect or store:

• Amazon login credentials
• Browsing history
• Payment or financial information
• Sensitive personal data
• Advertising identifiers
• Any data unrelated to Amazon KDP uploads

Your data is used strictly for:

• Preparing book metadata for KDP upload
• Auto-filling Amazon KDP forms
• Managing the upload workflow
• Improving extension functionality and debugging

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or unrelated analytics.

Local data is stored securely using Chrome's chrome.storage API.

Remote data (if processed) is stored securely in Supabase with industry-standard encryption.

We retain data only as long as necessary to provide the service.

The Extension interacts with the following services:

  Used for uploading your book content.
  (We do not collect your Amazon account data.)
• BookUploadPro API
  Used to handle metadata processing requests.
• Supabase
  Used for secure storage and automated processing.

Each service has its own privacy policy and security practices.

You can:

• Clear all local extension data through Chrome
• Delete uploaded spreadsheets
• Uninstall the extension at any time
• Contact us to request remote data deletion (if applicable)

We never sell, rent, or trade any user data — ever.
